Parallel synchronous of numerical software is gaining visibility in
the filed of signal and image processing, and control engineering. 
NAG is involved in developing image processing algorithms. (Rice,
Gentleman, Ford).

B. Ford will prepare some suggestions for the future work in this
project area and prepare a summary of relevant bibliography.
