Project 28: Survey of distribution centres

A survey of program distribution centres is planned by Dr. Lawson and
he will be writing to individuals concerned.

Novosibirsk 1979:
=================

Lawson briefly reviewed the packages TEX, ICON, PROSE, and TOOLPACK,
which are all likely to be useful to those engaged on mathematical
software (see IFIP/WG 2.5 (Novosibirsk-18) 618).

Madison 1982:
=============

Reid apologised for having omitted Lawson's proposed survey, announced
at the Baden meeting in 1978 from the list of projects. Lawson said
that it was still his intention to proceed with it.
